The more I listen to the new firmware the more I like its sound. In my opinion it is an improvement with respect to older versions. This is the first time I am really caught by the sound of the DX200.

  I don't think a future version with higher capacity would change in any way the quality of sound of the one people bought earlier, so if they are satisfied by the SQ they should still be. Moreover I think there is no way a 512 Gb can result in only a $100 price increase, I would expect it to...

+1 I like the idea of a special version with 512 Gb of internal memory (or at least 256 Gb) at a higher price point.

Any 5V USB charger or USB port would work with the cable.

You can charge the R10 with any USB charger and/or computer, provided you have the right connector to fit the charging port. One example of such cable is this one...

I still love the sound of my R10. Does anybody know if the Russian hardware mods are still available?

  I agree with the above. I still love my HDP-R10 (DX100) and prefer it over many newer DAPs. It would be great if iBasso could release a new DAP focused entirely on the best possible performance achievable with the current technology to compete with all the fancy new DAPs out there.

  I do not have a google account either and I get slightly over 50 hours from a single charge with wav files 16/44.1 and volume close to max level.
