Klipsch x10 or UE Triple fi.10?
I too have the UE700, TF10, and X10. UE700 (1+ yr) - Definitely my favorite pair. Extremely comfortable and SQ is not far from TF10. Cord is thin but holding up well with zero microphonics, I love it. TF10 (1+ yr) - In terms of SQ, it is hands down the best IEM I've heard. Tricky...- h3nG

play video games for a living?
it sounds awesome. most people actually have to make time for games, but he'll be getting paid for it. lol. and unlike most americans, he'll actually do what he (hopefully) enjoys doing for a living. i actually wanted to be one of those game reviewers when i was young, but decided it's not...- h3nG

Headphone amp for HD650s - do I need one?
You dont NEED one, but they sound like a pair of $80 headphones without one (which is still very good). So why spend $300 dollars on them? Better off getting a lower impedance headphone if you dont plan on getting an amp to match it.- h3nG

any cheap alternatives to starquad?
Are there any cheap alternatives to starquad for sennheiser recabling? Also, why is starquad so popular around here? I made a 15' extension cable using starquad and noticed an obvious degrade in sound quality. I had to lessen the length a little so it didn't affect the sound. So any one...- h3nG

Gaming headphones, large budget :)
honestly, you do not need to spend that much for "gaming". but the closed a900s are probably the best for the job. if you get killed with it on, i wouldn't suspect the sound limiting your "skillz". i think the a900s isolate pretty well.- h3nG

MDR-F1 vs MDR-SA1000 vs MDR-V700
i've found grados work really well with the ipod. i would recommend those over the sonys, if you are limiting your source. the saX000 are not heavy (same weight as the senns, but feel a lot lighter). they are the most comfortable phones i've EVAR worn, and i've worn alot from attending meets...- h3nG

Look what the UPS dropped off!!! (56K warning..)
i doubt they are more comfortable than the lower end grados. they might be lighter, but it doesn't look like the headband (clamping force) is adjustable. proper adjustments can make the grados as comfortable as the senns. too bad you dont have a sr60, i would be interested in hearing about...- h3nG

if u think ur hd6x0 sounds dark, make sure u have worn it correctly.
i haven't compared it, since it's natural for me to wear it "correctly". though correctly is probably the wrong term here. anyways, i would recommend removing the foam cover too, if you think it sounds too dark. quite a notable difference, and it frees up the space for your ears too. slightly...- h3nG

Decisions (a poll)...
i know a lot of people say the rs1 is a great match the ra1...but there are just so many better amps around that price range. to my ears, the ra1 is not even on the same level as the pimeta. add 50 bucks more and get yourself a used ppa.- h3nG
