umm im still new to this headphone stuff... the only headphones i have owned are.... some cheap labtec headset some panasonic cheapies that came with my pcdp sony mdr 7502 sony groove mdr ed268 sennheiser hd 495 (just acquired) i like the sennheisers... i have nothing better to...- kpxgq

i just bought my sennheiser hd495 primarily for use with my computer... now right now i am using the onboard audio card but i want to upgrade.... any suggestions... one thing that i wonder about is that it is reccomended for my headphones to have an amplifier.... are there any pc sound cards...- kpxgq

DFX improving low bitrate mp3s
i have a crapload of 128-190k mp3s and almost none at higher rate than that..... i know that alot of you may wonder how i can stand it, but i have only recently owned decent headphones.... 128k mp3 sounded exactly like my cds with my old sony 7502 headphones.... i just got my sennheiser hd 495...- kpxgq

hmmm... i never read the trilogy... i only read the hobbit as a high school student and was fairly unsatisfied with it.... i watched LOTR, and was totally blown away... i bought a boxed set of the trilogy the next day and i am about to finish LOTR now... but for me, watching the movie...- kpxgq

i dunno for sure, since i have never tried either... but i believe they are about the same in sound quality.... so i guess get whatever u like better and is cheaper- kpxgq

arnt they totally different? like the 495 is super aural and the v6 is circamural... and then the 495 is open while the v6 is closed... so i guess the question to ask is do u want superaural/circamural and open or closed?- kpxgq
