When I retubed my Zotl I called Kevin Deal at Upscale Audio and was very happy with the recommendations and results. The 6sn7's and 12at7's he sent me were quite an improvement. You should talk to him as he really knows his tubes and can give some genuinely educated advice.

I agree that the hd600/zotl combo was not a good one for me although I know some did like it. That's what sent me into grado land for awhile. My 650's seem to prefer a punchy solid state rig.
