Millet Hybrid Help
So, I'm buiding a millet hybrid on the DIYcable PCB....after many many weeks of waiting, finally got the enclsoure from par. finished the amp up, and set the bias, etc. Tested the DC offset...less than 3mv per channel...cool. Fired it up, and I'm not getting any sound from the left channel...- Zemo

Interesting discovery about the SA5k's...
So, being the complete nutcase I am, I ripped off the stock cable from my SA5k's, and went ahead and recabled 'em with some ultra high purity oxygen free silver plated copper...couple discoveries! FIRST - the cable used on the SA1k and SA3k is the EXACT same as the cable used on the SA5k! oh...- Zemo

Using a CD player as a DAC/analog stage for my computer?
Would it be possible to use the digital outs of my emu 0404, and run it into the DAC stage of my njoe tjoeb 4000? The digital from the card would replace the digital comming from the transport...how hard would this be to do? The card can do coax, but the cable comming from the transport is...- Zemo

Pimeta C2 voltage rating = 1/2 supply voltage?
In the PPA the power caps go from V- to V+, so it makes sense that they'd need to be rated for the supply voltage. But in the pimeta, the caps go from V- to ground, and V+ to ground...so couldn't you safely run caps rated for 1/2 the supply voltage? Of course, if your TLE failed, you'd get...- Zemo

Looking for aluminum/steel/silver cones for amp feet
