A friend of mine had purchased a 2nd hand iFi Zen Stream (which was operational) . Probably unknowingly he may have done a hard reset to the Zen, then disconnected the power. Now the Zen cannot be turned off via the left button (long press) unless the power is disconnected. It seems to connect...

I did install it on my ZS lan input. See my previous post. The distance between my router and ZS is half a meter. The iSilencer is located along the connecting ethernet cable. Sorry if I was not understood 😀

The ZS local router's input is mesh wifi, so no way to install the iSilencer. I did not want to install that on the input of my main mesh router (on the connection to the fiber router). Simple, as that.

There is a very short ethernet cable between my nesh router and the ZS, so the iSilencer is on either side.

Noticable SQ results after powring my ZS with iFi iPower Elite and installing iFi Lan iSilencer at the ethernet output of my mesh router towards ZS.

For me, Burson V5i-Ds, on both input and output stages, provide the best SQ.

I had noticable SQ improvement with iFi Elite, replacing the iFi iPower-X, on my ZS.

TT2 and Mojo2 are on different levels. Mojo2 is inferior even to the Hugo2 (which I had for a long while, before the TT2) which sounds sub-par against the TT2.

Fir Xe6, out of the Chord Hugo TT2, my music had never sound so GOOD!

I did notice SQ improvments when upgrading my ZS power supply from iFi iPower-X to iFi iPower Elite.

I play Tidal via Roon. HiRez is delivered via ZS. Tidal Connect with HiRez files is running on ZS.

After Chord TT2, had replaced my Hugo2, I did upgrade the ZS power supply from ifi iPower-X (15v) to iPower Elite (15v). Sound quality affected by a small but still noticable improvment. The sound now is more "airy", better instruments separation and bigger stage. Same black background.
