A decade ago; I had bought into the crappy Logitech Bluetooth devices which I swore NEVER to buy again deeming it a bad technology. Review by 'wpfloridian' on item 'Marantz SA8004 Super Audio CD/CD Player (Black)'
I will keep this short; after years of listening to the best equipment in the world being brought to the few CAN JAM events I had been able to attend. I had pretty much figured out the Meridian and Marantz players were to my ears the best of the bunch in their corresponding price ranges. Being...- wpfloridian

Review by 'wpfloridian' on item 'Logitech Z-5500 THX-Certified 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Speaker System'
In 2005 when surround systems (decent ones) were going to $1,000 I believed this was the deal to beat. Five years later...I still believe this is true. While it may not be an audiophile system..the sound is great, bass is plentiful..no let's say the bass is better than you ever expected it to...- wpfloridian

Please Compare iBasso D10 to Grado RA1 I don't know what to do!
I have had the Grado Amp alongside the Grado 125's and the GS1000 for a few years now...the little amp has to be commended for it's simplicity. I have taken my Grados to the CanJam and other meets....I have sampled awesome equipment with my Grados; there are other solutions that handle both...- wpfloridian

Zero DAC(130$ DAC)+60$ dvd player= ???$ CDP
Yes, I have heard them both extensively..I was going to buy one this summer until I discovered the Zero on a thread here. With the proper mods to the Zero; it is very good!! ...but I will not discredit the SA-8001 for SACD. That is another topic.... But since I only collect Redbook CD's I will...- wpfloridian

I have the GS-1000's...I have heard the STAX..they are both great..I posted before something like this... I we were to pick the best one we could go on forever debating the pros and cons. I like them both but preferred the GS1000's due to the flexibility of playing them out of any...- wpfloridian

Grado - the way to go?
I have the GS1000's and the 125's....got for the 225's if you have the budget. I not you will be happy with the 125's. They ALL have the great resolution; they only improve about 10% up the spectrum as the price increases..yes; a sweet 10%. If you want I will sell you my 125's...drop me a line...- wpfloridian

Do you consider any Grado headphone as High-end?
Hi Folks, I have heard the STAX, 650's, HP1's, RS1's and the GS1000's...it is a question of preference...they are all competitive and kick ass in their own right. I own the GS1000's. A buddy of mine prefers the RS1's...I could argue forever as to why the GS1000's are better...and we can all do...- wpfloridian
