Interest check: Las Vegas meet
I have a meeting place in mind - thinking of holding the meet there when CES takes place. Should give the thread a while to generate interest and plan for when our small group can make it- Floodge

USB DAC Beeping
When I hook my Beresford TC-7520 DAC up to my PC via USB, there is a tone beep in the background when using ASIO or loading certain games. OS is XP. Kernel streaming won't load, and DS output works fine (until I launch a game and then it beeps) On my laptop, I can run ASIO output just fine...- Floodge

My life has been saved....
Hehe! On a related note - I used to have long hair and one day cut it off up to the ears, mostly for convenience when listening to headphones. Has anyone else done this, or maintain this kind of hairstyle?- Floodge

Interest check: Las Vegas meet
Interest check for a Las Vegas meet; time would be arranged among those interested. As Las Vegas has few local hi-fi retailers, I think a meet is most needed among Head-fi members!- Floodge

I'm trying to research various amplifiers before purchasing one to go with my sr325i/225s. Currently they operate off of a Little Dot Mk1+ I have considered both the Zero Dac, Compass, and various others, but I could use some recommendation, and I know others with this combination would...- Floodge

XtremeMusic or AV-710
Right now I have an X-fi XtremeMusic running under XP - which feeds into an LD1+ amp and then Grado 325i/225. I am using the line out, and want to move asap to (optical?) s/pdif. I know the XtremeMusic has a half baked adapter for digital i/o, but I want some comparison because I plan no...- Floodge
