Actually, I saw a Nexus player at Audiogon some weeks ago, think they asked $500. Though it's gone now... But there are plenty of ohter good players out there, keep looking and you will find something.

Well, There should be units availiable in the US (or where you happen to live) aswell. The point is too look at the S/H market.

Philips $80 Grado $100 How would these compare to one another? The 890s look rather nice, but I know that the Grados have great sound too. Anyone that has heard both?

I'm searching for new headphones to use with my Sharp MD. The ones I have nailed down is the Grado SR60 and Beyerdynamic, both can be had for the same price. I prefer a warm sound with deep bass and preferably not harsh highs. Which one would fit me best? can't hear them where I live, have to order.
