I wear my headphones mostly at the office and get a kick out of when people come over and make fun of my gigantic headphones (especially when I had the  AD700's). I now use my D5000's almost all the time...I am really interested to hear how the new models sound though..I don't think the 7100's...

My guess is that it is for controlling your ipod or something...but the lights part and controls I don't ever care for, something else to break and I don't use them most of the time and I certaintly wouldn't want them on a nice pair of higher end headphones messing up the looks and getting in...

yeah, they are not as horrid as the orginal pictures to come out, but look quite different from the current ones, but we'll have to see, I dont think the 7100's are too bad looking compared to the other two models they are supposed to be releasing also...at least it seems they kept the mohagony...

Got the D5000's last week and I am really liking them, trying to spilt time between them and the AD900's I got last week also...both are very different sounding but I do like both quite a bit, I think I give the edge to the D5000 due to soudning better with more types of music....but the AD900's...

No problem, I think they make a great combo! I also have the M50's and I like them a lot, I just ordered the D5000's also to see how I like them compared to the M50's the majority of people seem to say they are a huge upgrade. If you watch on Amazon, you can get the straight cable version new...
