Attn Australians: Cheap UE IEMs from Logitech.com.au

I just took this info to logitechshop and asked if they were in fact an authorized re-seller and they accused me of Slander, and posted this Quote: operated by an independent reseller with the business name of Best Buy Tek Pty Ltd ABN: 49 131 533 812 Logitechshop does not in anyway...

I just googled Fluidtek and the results put me off completely making a purchase from that site.

Attn Australians: Cheap UE IEMs from Logitech.com.au

Well, a quick check of shopbot.com.au shows that a few other stores are selling them at similarly reduced prices and the couple I checked at least, claimed that they came with manufacturer warrantys.

I have my hands ON the Sony X1000 Walkman - Impressions / Discussions

Quick question... In this image I stole from wired's article, I noticed the Walkman rocking the Marshall stack wallpaper. Is that one there in the default options, or can you pick your own wallpaper, or ??

    The DIY Discman Repair Thread

Hi, I've acquired a D-211 for cheap at a thrift store. It powers on however when I put a CD in, it tries to spin, then clicks a bit, and that's pretty much it. I wouldn't know where to start in fixing it - any help would be appreciated ! Thanks.

Sony Walkman NWZ-X1000 (UK out NOW, US version out mid-June)

The prices sound pretty high according to engadget! Lots of mentions about it's audio tech credentials, maybe they've given up on trying to topple the Touch and aiming this at the specialty market?

    iPod 7G: 120gb only

Steve said "no one was buying the thick one" so I'd say that's pretty much the reason why it was discontinued. Simple supply and demand, hence the Nanos got far more attention.

(New vs Used) another help me get a new LP player thread

Hi, I'm wanting to get into vinyl, since the LP player handed down from my folks died I figured it's time to get a proper player. I've read a fair bit on here about buying Used is better than buying a newer player, I'd like a bit more info though, if I can ask. The options at the moment...

Pictures of Your Portable Rig [Part XI]

New Ipod case, with PK2's for the bus and MS1's for the bed! Sounds great all round, the screen actually shines brighter than that through the case but it's just the angle of the picture. With my new Ipod I was surprised to find out I could load it in OSX and Vista without having to re format, I...

    iPhone 3G revealed: "Improved Audio...flush headphone jack...$199 for 8GB"

I'm sure the improved audio just refers to the onboard speakers which have apparantly been improved quite a bit. Not audiophile related stuff that most people wouldn't notice and doesn't have a 'wow' factor

New PK2 user here, nothing to add except I love the sound coming from these well made earbuds, and so comfy! I never liked IEMS that went too far into the ear canal and these are perfect!

Yep, Grado appear control who distributes their headphones pretty tightly. You can get them in Australia at http://www.audiophile.com.au but the prices are a fair bit worse than Amazon. You can get Alessandro at Headphonic | Australian Headphone Specialists: Buy Etymotic, Alessandro, Audio...

Alessandro Music Series MS1 FAN CLUB!

Thanks hayste, and I agree with your post, finally had them waiting for me as I got home tonight, these are everything I thought the HD555 was missing, up front, in the middle, it was just hard for me to enjoy the HD555's, it felt a bit distant, but these are great. Read they might be...

Have them on order and can't wait to hear them, have had the HD555's for a while and enjoyed them but I think they sound a bit too distant for me and the apparent on-stage sound of these ones should suit me Good to hear of lots of others getting these recently as well.

Here's my poor man's portable Pre-colour Ipod > Kramer Mod JVC Marshmallows The Ipod has served me well, was laying dormant for almost 2 years until it suddenly started working again, I was getting the failed hardware message and so I was very lucky! Though not being able to...

JVC Marshmallows to UE Super.fi 5 EB or Pros-how similar are they

I did the same jump and it was a big change, you will notice a big difference compared to the Marshmallow's, much clearer and more power. Definitely worth it if you ask me

    Sennheiser 280 vs. 555

As mentioned, the 555's make no effort to keep the sound in, they have annoyed my room mates to no end when I don't realise quite how much they can leak as I turn it up and up, so keep that in mind. Other than that I can't fault them.

    My ears suck

Consider it a blessing, I recently did a hearing test for work and the results came back, my hearing just scrapes into the very bottom of the "normal" threshold, so essentially I can skip the diminishing returns of expensive headphone upgrades and settle with, say, an SR60 instead of a SR325i
