I'm using a M-Audio Transit on my laptop (Toshiba M700), with a Toslink cable connected to my DAC (840C). Whenever I move the laptop around, the sound starts crackling and popping and I have to stop whatever is playing and start it again. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening...

Hi guys, newbie here... I recently obtained an EMU 1212m soundcard (the old one with firewire) and a pair of AKG K701 headphones. They're being burned in currently. I have a Headsix amp, but am thinking of using that with my DAP and getting a proper desktop amp. Is it worthwhile doing so...
