Hi I’m trying to educate myself more on the above, not exactly asking for opinions. is there a resource/site/thread that explains the key facts about such cables? eg OCC, OFC and other acronyms and implications 4/8/16 etc strands Braiding Copper/silver plated/silver etc- slowth

I actually have not... so far trying to base on reviews and forums. I did listen to an elear this afternoon but also wondering whether it's accurate enough to extrapolate that aural info to what an elegy might sound like. my main beef with the 1990 is I wanted something with just abit more...- slowth

good qs, also using with an interface which has pretty good headphone out just wondering if an external headphone amp would help. Dac wise I think most interfaces have decent converters.- slowth

Signal chain help. MAC/mixer/headphone amp
so moving to a speakerless system after moving to a smaller place. I have a portable mixer (with 1/4” L+R/RCA L+R), which I currently connect 3.5mm audio out from my Mac, and instrument signal to mix onboard into my headphones. Hey Tronz =) well no more warranty definitely.. it's by "Freqs" which are no longer around actually they didn't last very long at all, but they were good enough customs for me so I'm not complaining about their quality. =) It's the Freq Show Music maker series, triple driver.- slowth
