    I actually have not... so far trying to base on reviews and forums. I did listen to an elear this afternoon but also wondering whether it's accurate enough to extrapolate that aural info to what an elegy might sound like. my main beef with the 1990 is I wanted something with just abit more...

    Perhaps barring slight differences it’d be quite similar in character? maybe something warmer? Richer vocals/mids?

    main genres: jazz, blues, country, ccm wanted something to offer a different flavour to my dt 1990. perhaps a deeper bass but not slamming, richer vocals, not as aggressive.

    good qs, also using with an interface which has pretty good headphone out just wondering if an external headphone amp would help. Dac wise I think most interfaces have decent converters.

    Hey Tronz =)   well no more warranty definitely.. it's by "Freqs" which are no longer around actually they didn't last very long at all, but they were good enough customs for me so I'm not complaining about their quality. =) It's the Freq Show Music maker series, triple driver.
