just got it and i must say for 250 bucks it is a gr8 little gadget. ive been using a Grace M902 for the past 2 years which I really enjoyed and i must say though the grace is better the Apogee One is a great way to get a very nice and cool DAC that can record and is portable. It drives my HD600...

just wanted some feedback on those who have one. ive read lots of stuff on it all over the web and here also and mostly positive. i wont be using the XLR outs on it for my headphone cuz i got studio monitors for that which will hook up into them. the headphone amp gets kinda flaky reviews here...

just been doing some listening to that combo and i dig it a lot. i might have come down on the HD600s a little hard b4. i guess i just didn't dig the hd600 Equinox combo (too much treble and airiness) but i think they match up very very well with the Cardas.

and i don't like em. HD600>equinox>M901. comfort is the only thing i dig more...and the fact that i can simply put them down anywhere without worrying or caring if the baby chews on them.....not the same with me old HP1000s. looking for some HP1000s again! DAM THOSE ARE NICE HEADPHONES!!!!!!
