Trinity Audio Engineering - What the future holds
I watched the Differences between Master and Icarus III and I still don't understand the differences apart from instrument separation being better on the Icarus III - which sounds like it it have a larger soundstage. For bass which one has more quantity and which goes lower? What about the...- aBc.CaN

Trinity Audio Engineering - What the future holds
Firstly I'm a fan of Trinity Audio's products as they provide great value for money, but sadly the website is not clear and is light on details. Please update it with all the facts needed so we can make the best decision on which products to buy! Head-Fi should not used in addition to the...- aBc.CaN

Reply to review by 'abc.can' on item 'TFZ Series 5'
Hi Brooko, great detailed review. Would you say these are some of the hardest hitting earphones in the bass department compared to other earphones you've heard if it was EQ'd with a bass boost?- aBc.CaN

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Yes, I saw the reviews, but I didn't see any comparisons to any basshead IEMs. Without a comparison I have no idea how bassy they are.- aBc.CaN

Quote: Wow that would be great. Even if it doesn't mean in the next couple of days at least the review can be of help to others in the future. In the mean time is it possible to ask that person what they think? Are they a Head-Fi member? Maybe I could PM them?- aBc.CaN

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Hi bassheads, has anyone heard the TFZ Series 5 IEM? Supposedly the reviews on Head-Fi say it's for bassheads. It's currently US$60 at https://www.massdrop.com/buy/tfz-series-5-iem/ for the next few days. Does it give a real basshead impact even if it needs to be EQ'd? Cheers.- aBc.CaN

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
DreamKing I agree that custom presets are usually miss than hit. lol... bass for bass' sake? It was still helpful for me as I had never thought to EQ down. Quote:- aBc.CaN

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
I understand what you're saying in regards to "cave sound". To clarify, using the EQ by TheDragonGuy gave me "cave sound" on my equipment (while it works for him, my setup couldn't handle it). I had to lower the bass and raise the mids and highs on my setup. My point is that in order to get...- aBc.CaN

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
This visual EQ was very helpful to me! It should be on the front page! Before this I only boosted bass. I learnt lowering the mids and highs is extremely important if you want PHAT BASS! Basically an amp has limited power and you need to choose how to distribute the sound (via EQ) or you'll...- aBc.CaN

I think I get what your saying. With more amp power the bass boost is increased more than the bass boost dB numbers alone state. Thanks for clarifying. Is this universally the case? Or is it relative to the resistance of the headphones? Quote:- aBc.CaN

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
So what your saying is that because the E7K/E17K produces less power than the E12 the actual bass output is less than the dB by themselves show? What would be the actual dB that the E12 increases the bass by if bass increase of 10dB from the E7K/E17K stays the same?- aBc.CaN

I just want to confirm, purely from a bass boost perspective, doesn't the E7K/E17K produce more bass than the E12? E12 MAX BASS Boost >5 dB (BASS ON) E7K/E17K Bass Adjust ±10 dB- aBc.CaN

The JVC FX850..Woodie perfection?. (A review)
From my understanding of looking at reviews, the Ostry KC06 is more of a neutral IEM as opposed to my preference for a bass-head IEM. Quote:- aBc.CaN

Wow nice collection!! I'd love a quick comparison of all your headphones, once the 850 is received, if you have time! I'm trying to figure out the next upgrade from my ASG 1.2 and the market has been flooded with new additions recently! Quote:- aBc.CaN

Yamaha HPH-200 (Pictures and review) [Updated]
I got them yesterday. I'm pretty happy atm after testing them for about an hour. Comparing to my ASG 1.2 I would say the bass does not reach as low or with as much quantity, and the mids are better on the ASG, although I think the hph-200 has more obvious/better highs. I would say the...- aBc.CaN

Yamaha HPH-200 (Pictures and review) [Updated]
Hi nino9, When you say the L1 bass is better you mean the impact is more? Or the quality is better? If you had to allocate numbers for bass quantity and quality what would you give? e.g an 8 vs 7. Additionally if possible, numbers for soundstage, mids, and treble between the two headphones...- aBc.CaN
