DAC Comparison: USB Soundcard vs Amp for M-Audio AV40 MKII Speakers
Quote: okay great - i've found this here: http://hotaudio.com/store/dac-destroyer.php would you recommend these over the EMU-0404s then? although obviously the 0404s work out as £90 compared to about £40 for the destroyer - just wanting a bit of a pro/cons for both outside of cost...- jerome

DAC Comparison: USB Soundcard vs Amp for M-Audio AV40 MKII Speakers
hey guys, i've, like many of you - although to a much lesser extent - been very much reliant on headphones, having owned akgs, denons, ATS and currently i'm using a pair of ultrasones that are very much decent for their price however, i've decided to finally invest in having a bit...- jerome

How leaky is the alessandro ms-1? would I be able to get away with wearing it on say, a train? or is that completely out of the question?- jerome

what about Audio Technica ATH-ANC7? the active noise cancellation makes it seem more impressive than the ES 7's to me.- jerome

is there a difference between closed and noise cancelling headphones? which would be preferred? i have a feeling noise cancelling headphones probably have terrible sound quality compared to open and perhaps closed too, so i should go with closed yes...?- jerome

Closed Non-Full Sized Headphones for London Underground/Tube Travelling for £150 max
simple enough question really. i bought myself a pair of HD 595's about a month ago, and my girlfriend took a test run with them recently and she's fallen in love with them utterly and totally. being shocked at the apparent huge difference between that and her default ipod earphones. now...- jerome

Help me choose between these budget headphones
ah i checked into it a bit further and on (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-H...7428650&sr=8-1) it does indeed state that: Impedance: 50 Ohm so in all likeliness it's just a typo i guess...?- jerome
