I don't have them with me but I'm almost sure it's one of those push and turn counter clockwise about 1/4 inch and they will pull off. I'll check later today if someone doesn't clarify it by then.

If you have used 4 different adapters already I really doubt that is the issue. Good luck figuring it out and keep us posted.

I only have the Bluemini for a source at the moment. I'm thinking about getting an amp if it would improve quality. The other big issue with me at the moment is getting high quality source material. I've been using spotify and I'm sure that is my bottleneck now.

I would think it should be an upgrade depending on the source you are using now. Find some good quality music through your new DAC and enjoy.

I got the Devas recently and I've been thinking about getting an amp. Do you see any improvements over the Bluemini with other amps? Or is the Deva with the Bluemini about as good as it gets? Thanks

Your thoughts are pretty much spot on. With open you will annoy people sitting next to you travelling for sure. Unless of course they enjoy listening to what you are. You will also hear the outside noise with open too, unless you crank it up and then they will all hear you the better. Sounds...

Well I ordered a pair last night. I should have them tomorrow, they are on the way from Amazon. I'm a little worried reading about all these issues with the bluemini. Anyway I'm really excited to give them a try. Just hoping they have enough bass to satisfy me. ;-)

I think I might give these a shot for my first planar headphones. I was close to pulling the trigger on the HE400i 2020 but then they disappeared from Amazon. These seem to be a step up? I think the bluemini might be nice with my phone too now that I don't even have a 3.5 jack on it.

I would assume that they are biasing potentiometers. They would be used to adjust the voltage going to the tubes, left and right. It could be to adjust for voltages for different tubes and also for balancing the tubes. You can also see a jumper switch to change from 6v to 12v.
