I just read that comment. Comical as pretty much any listening device has an amplifier built in.

Have there been many quality issues? I have heard of one rattling driver, one dead driver and one bad earpad. Doesn't seem to be a huge QC issue given the number of them they shipped and produced at one time. But then again I don't read the Massdrop forums as they are a joke to navigate.
