Audio-Technica ATH-CKS1100 Impressions & Discussion Thread
Can they be worn over e ear? Currently using jvc 850 n they tend to lose isolation due to its weight. Looking for some bass n this seems it. But again afraid e isolation loosening. They seems quite heavy- surge

E gain will be little cos e weakest link is e ipod, unless u have an dac/amp to extract music digital, e internal dac/amp will narrow e sound alot. Try listening to a sound on cd n then on e ipod...I got e revelation in 2007...since then have not touch my ipod.- surge

The JVC FX850..Woodie perfection?. (A review)
when I got mine I actuallu prefer e im70 over it. 850 is overly warm. But it does grows on u(I believe in burn in but to a limited extend...say 8 hr a day for a week...but not 500hrs kind). It is a kinda like do everything right not not exceeding in any specific department type of iem. Ie800...- surge

So far e c5 has proven itself based on e number of good reviews n positive feedback in e thread. Expectations have crept in insidiously to e point that we e texture of e aluminium! That doesnt affect sound. dont forget how much it cost. If there is premium c5 w consistent aluminum texture n...- surge

funny e text typed all gone missing. anyway I tried e same method to block e rear port w a iPhone button sticker. Tighter bass w less warmth. But have since stick to a triple flange trimmed down to diuble w e tube still in tack. Can get same results plus a tighter fit.- surge

Spend some time w a multi driver iem n dynamic iem n see what u enjoy most. I nearly got a v8 stage when I got a v6 stage for my niece. She is a drummer n loves e clear separation of instruments etc. E sub bass n separation n vocals were excellent on e v8. But after trying it n comparing for it...- surge

Asg has greater quantity bass even at mid level of bass tuning. 850 has much better clarity n treble. Also separation. If u wanma be drownednin bass, asg does a better job. If u listen to jazz n want better detail n texture in say double bass, 850 does provides more.- surge

E lear ae1d us out. Single 10mm dynamic driver. Sounded morr detail n less warmth than e 850. Very close in signature but has better separation. Those whi like e 850 may wanna audit these. Very tempting offer from lear.- surge

never listen to fostex before but westone has a very very different sound signature from e jvc. Tried westone but didnt like them at all. 850 has warmer mids, fuller bass n smooth highs. Although westone has clearer separation, jvc is more enjoyable to listen to. Lear 2d4b has better separation...- surge
