How's the big sparkos sound compared to its Mini-me ?

I've not heard the Bursons to comment but definitely more dynamic and fine detailed than the ad827sq and lme49990 opamps I had on hand. It has a sense of realism and thereness that the IC's couldn't match.

Yeah the capacitors are in the way, so i moved them a little with my thumbs, they had just enough play to flex and bend away to make the ss3602s fit. Also cut the socket on the left in half to shift it over, otherwise they don't fit, but where there's a will ...

These little through-hole leads can stick out far enough to hit the case, so i trimmed them down a little, may not be needed if you can close the case with the make-shift shielding in place.

The space around the swappable opamps seems roomier. I have the xd05 bal, with much fussing about I managed to squeeze in some sparkos ss3602's into both sockets, and the sound is incredibly dynamic and analog like.

Anyone know if its getting bluetooth ? Nvm I see the screen shot saying it does.

Here's the max extension on mine received today.

They definitely slam with the right amplifiers. :) Was kind of lazy and used the m11pro as a source instead of the psaudio pwd2. Bottom amps knob is my room somewhere-ish.

I've emailed Taron and Co. from headphones to see if they have any updates for us this week. Delays for qc or headband extension upgrades, would all be good in my book.
