a little 'tip' for EB owners
For those of you who find that the EBs high end is just too rolled off (like me) and you normally use the smallest flex tips (again like me), I have found that using the smallest ex70 tips on the EBs will actually open up the highs a bit. It doesnt turn the EBs into something like an er6 by...- Nights_85

Is it really possible to teach an old dog new tricks?
The answer that Ive come to is a definate YES. "What the hell are you talking about dogs for in a headphone forum?" I hear you thinking, well I had recently managed to solder a couple of wires (with resistors in series to drop the voltage) onto a 6.5mm headphone socket and hook em up to the...- Nights_85

iAudio M3/X5 + Super.fi 5 EB
Ok. Ive got my finger twitching on the trigger to buy a pair of EB's, and Im just curious: How many of you iAudio owners find yourself wishing the brainiacs who designed the M3/X5 would implement an equaliser than can cut the frequency you're trying to adjust (in this case it would be the...- Nights_85

UM2's + ety tips inital impressions
ok so I FINALLY got my ety triflanges after a rather elongated week long wait for them. Initial impressions of the UM2 using my iAudio M3 with these on (yes I did cut the last tip off btw) is that it doesn't really improve the bass THAT much if and now they are much more sibilant as well. I mean...- Nights_85

*sigh*I cant decide. Another one of those IEM threads
I really cant decide which IEM to get, I recently blew the left driver in my er6's (nfi how I did that) and Im left with a pair of e2cs with a slowly dying cable. Now I liked the detail of the er6's but they really did sound thin, I could EQ them but the rather prominent fluttering sound I could...- Nights_85

Sony EX70 with ER6 tips
I might not be the first person to make a thread on this but I decided to do a little expereiment on my ex70's which I am currently using till I can figure out a way of getting the left driver of my ER6's to start firing again. Now I think it's fairly accepted across the board the ex70's...- Nights_85

Any incredibly big difference?
Hi I'm a newbie here, I was just wondering if there's any significantly large difference between the Ety Er-6 and 4P? I once own a pair of B&O A8's and they were fantastic, but a bit bright. I only sold em cause they didn't isolate and I was sick and tired of listening to the bus motor...- Nights_85
