I'm thinking of buying the XPT100 for music and movies. Does anyone know how the ear space and depth compares to the Takstar HI-2050? I recently received the Takstar and the inside of the cups are too small. Also, is the clamping pressure light enough(plus the cushy pads) to not cause discomfort...

In comparing the HSR-1000 to the HI-2050, is the fit virtually the same? Inside diameter of cups, ear space, clamping pressure?   I know one is open and one is closed, but how does the sound compare?   Thanks.

Thanks. I received my HI-2050 yesterday, and it sounds great plugged into my receiver's HP jack. Very comfortable also, with low clamping pressure. I finally found an over the ear can that works over my glasses.

Is an amp needed with the HI-2050, when plugged into an A/V receiver's HP jack? If so, how would it be hooked up to the receiver?   There's also a Blu-ray player in the mix for discs and streaming Netflix movies.   Thanks.

Well I just got home and the 7506 were delivered today. On a Sunday? Amazon said shipped by USPS. Weird.   These cups are SHALLOW. This should be called an on ear, not over ear. The way they are now, I doubt I will be keeping them.   Has anyone used the "rope on the inside of the pads" or...

  Thanks. I assume the clamping pressure is low then? I had to return the Senn. HD558 because it clamped too hard over my glasses. Do you know if it clamps less than the HD558?
