shorter headphone cords
A shorter cable would be very nice, when I first got my ER-4Ps I routinely got the wire caught on things (ouch!!). And if it reduced the microphonics? I would definitely stand in line for these.- kaeric

I've been ripping all my music onto my iPod with iTunes, don't know what you guys are talking about with LAME and everything. I am not a HUGE audiophile like many of you, I just want to be able to take advantage of my ER-4Ps when they arrive.- kaeric

above 192 kbps noticable?
I just bought some Etys ER-4Ps. Now from everything i have read they seem to be very precise, revealing phones. My question is will there be a noticable sound difference between an MP3 ripped at 192 kpbs instead of, say 320. Will I not be taking advantage of the Etys strengths if my Mp3s are all...- kaeric

I destroyed my Etys!
hm....this cord changing might have to happen. A short cord is less likly to get caught on stuff, would have slightly better sound (as explained by someone), and braided cable would reduce microphonic effect. Go Go New Cable!- kaeric

That was sopposed to be in responce to cscott23's comment of the shorter braided cord, not the earhugger mod. My bad. Although i think that I might go for that earhugger mod if the braided cord isnt a real option.- kaeric
