I know its old thread but i want to do modification to my T1 (10 years old 1st gen). Now i want to mod it to detachable mini xlr and on other end to balanced 4.4 jack. Can someone send me wiring schematics to properly connect Dual 4-pin Mini-XLR to 4.4 balanced jack? Thanks

I want warmer sound. But is ZEN DAC V2 just as good DAC as iDAC2 or is iDAC 2 still better option in terms of SQ not sound signature?

I have iDAC2 in combination with Schiit Magni3 and Loki Mini and I am considering replacing my setup with ZEN DAC V2 and ZEN CAN. Dont need Loki Mini as i mostly use Equalizer Apo. Is ZEN DAC V2 as good as iDAC2? Or is this step back in terms of SQ? Thanks.

I use Loki only for first generation T1 because in need to tune down that spike on high frequencies. Mostly i use Equalizer APO & Peace. But only if needed. I dont see anything wrong with using EQ if that helps.

Is there any way to clean headband? I did not use any protection on headband and am now facing this problem. I tried one all purpose cleaner for textile but its not working. If nothing helps then i will live with it and buy one of suggested headband covers, protection.
