    iPhone vs Android(s) + portable amp?

    Just to confirm the galaxy sii does not output digital audio via usb otg, to either my dacmagic or my bros behringer audio interface. Hopefully ice cream sandwich will be out on my phone soon as that should carry this ability.

    iPhone vs Android(s) + portable amp?

    It certainly connects to keyboards and mice via a usb adaptor, but its unclear to me whether or not it can output sound that way. my best bet might be to take apart an offical dock you can buy which has a lineout from it (output from the usb micro). It costs £30 ish though, and still leaves you...

    iPhone vs Android(s) + portable amp?

    I cant find any concrete information about whether the galaxy s ii connects with a usb dac using its usb otg functionality. does anyone know anything about this. The Nokia n8 works with some but not all dacs by the look of it. i just got some dt1350's but the output on the sgsii is really grim!

    a buzz in my amp?

    I get this with my little dot 2++, and the IC has nothing to do with it. Its funny, some days it buzzes or hums, other days it doesnt.

    LDII++ Input

    I think the idea is to use a line out from a portable cd player, or mp3 player, but you could use a rca to 3.5mm cable from a full size source.

    LDII++ Input

    This would work ok, you would get the benefits of the extra driving power of the LD2++ but you would also get the poor quality effect from the headphone out. I use the M audio firewire solo (as i record music http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_u...Solo-main.html ) this has a digital line in, and...

    Little Dot II++ Disappointment?

    if you follow this link http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=212350 someone has experienced greater bass and volume by changing to mullard and 6C19PI tubes. both can be aquired relatively cheaply.

    My LD2++ has arrived!

    its odd how we dont all have this 'rapid heating technology thing' that penguindude suggested. Ive only just started to get the glow/flash (after about 60 hours burn in) and vcoheda has said that he doesnt experience this.

    My LD2++ has arrived!

    my ld2++ has started to flash on start up (mine also has the ediswans), its only from cold that it does this, if you turn it off and on, i do not experience it. I read a thread a while back saying this was fine, sorry i cant remember the details, but the practical upshot was of it being quite...

    How hot is too hot, as since i have stopped using the voltage converter to change my 240v mains into the 120v little dot, it is alot hotter, before it was standard temperature for most electrical equipment like my solid state speaker amp, although the tubes them self were too hot to touch.
