I kinda blew something up on my EB01 DAC when I was replacing some caps. I don't know what is, but it says FA51 on it. I have included a pic. It is at position U5

Ok, I ordered some Elna SilmicII caps to replace the generic caps, I am going to bypass the USB power with a 5V Elpac I have, and I received my opamp sockets so I can roll some opamps in it. But there appears to be a big shortage of OPA627's everywhere. Digikey won't even allow backorders...

I have a 5v Elpac and was wondering if I can just bypass the USB power to this unit and use the Elpac. Do you think there would be any advantage to this? Rick
