dude did you ever stop to think that this device has no screen therefore you don't need to bring it online? The M0 has one, and needs to have a button sequence to turn it on....

looks like you got the faulty unit

had this problem to update from 1.5 to 2.0. Card had to be in fat32. I suppose you need to do this first. To go from 1.0 to 1.5 exfat is not accepted for this procedure

Well the idea is for using it on the pocket easily. That's why double click to pause is perfect for me. My 2 cents on making the firmware better and more usable

One suggestion. To implement a 3 click on the clickwheel with probally the same options as in 2 click. This should be easy to do.

My guess is that the hardware is obsolete from day zero. No way i'll get another chinese brand dap from launch. Maybe i will get the Shanling M0, which seems delivers what this doesn't

I won't believe any more empty promises as they have showed zero real interest in fixing the problems this player has: No real gapless, laggy interface, several bugs. And of course the mods protecting fiio (you have to protect a sponsor). As for me, they lost me as a client forever.

If you follow the thread and/or if you view the firmware update list from fiio you will notice last update was released on 2018-02-09 . This was 6 months ago. Don't expect any more firmware updates for the fiio x1-2 . This project is dead. Fiio has abandoned it (us).

I am never gonna buy anything from fiio. This is certain. This is what they have been working on with this inferior dap full of laggy interface and bugs. Not only that, but they have in me an angry ex customer that will always remember them for this.

what? firmware updates and fiio x1-2 do not join the same phrase unless is fiio x1-2 lacks firmware updates.
