    Charging Zune with Ipod Charger

Eh, the Zune is picky I have a generic USB charger and it doesn't work (works with other mp3 players), but the specialty Zune charger works. I don't know what the difference is, but no matter what it shouldn't destroy your device.

I posted this before the thread was moved.... Try looking at chamber music. To me it is more emotional (and generally better music) than large symphonic works. Composers have to rely more on actual musical ideas rather than the large tone color and mass of sound of a symphonic orchestra...

Ha, good question. Really not much, it seems a bit clearer, but of course that can be a number of things. What did change is piece of mind. i won't worry about not having kernel streaming.

Should I erase my laptop's HD and use an External?

External drives are a little slower (firewire would be faster than USB), but for music they are plenty fast. It's what I use and it runs without any delay (just don't run programs off of it).

    very weird ripping problem

Could be your CD drive is screwed up, maybe try ripping another CD and see if it has the same problem. Also, just try re-ripping, sometimes that clears up my problems (It could have been a bad rip).

CMOY one channel louder than other.

It was in the hole, but it was shallow. So it may have not been conencted(I shoved it in further).

CMOY one channel louder than other.

Well, resoldering the weak connections seemed to have worked. Don't I feel silly. Well thank you everyone, I guess I just have to be neater.

CMOY one channel louder than other.

I built a cmoy today and one channel is much louder than the other (95% of the time). Sometimes they are of equal volume, but I do not know why. I checked the DCV output and on R5 there is some discrepancy. On the louder channel it outputs 4.5v. The softer channel outputs 0. I think that is...

    Will the OPA627 work with a go-vibe?

I recenly bought a go-vibe along with an OPA627 from someone. The OPA2227 works perfectly in the Go-Vibe, but the OPA627 does not. After some research it seems the OPA627 is not a dual op-amp. Can it work in the Go-Vibe(version 3)? Thank you.

    Using speaker wire for interconnect?

Thanks for everyone's help, it looks like I'll be using solid core cat5e. One more question though. Should I use a pair for each signal or just a single strand? P.S. This is kind of unrelated. Would using a piggyback cable like this and a normal rca on top of it degrade the sound quality more...

    Using speaker wire for interconnect?

Too thick in what way? Does it actually degrade the sound being so thick or does it just not fit well? Does anyone know about the shielding? Thanks.

    Using speaker wire for interconnect?

Can I use some speaker wire for an interconnect? It seems like a good option because it's pretty large gauge, but I'm worried about the lack of shielding. I can also use some solid cat5e cable, would that be better to use?
