Your 10 Favorite Beatles Songs!
I did realize that I had no Paul songs as I was submitting. He would definitely fill out #'s 11-20 though had we gone that far. -

badly produced albums that you love
Totally agree on 'Black Holes...' I'm hoping their next one receives better treatment. '(What's the Story) Morning Glory' by Oasis would be my prime example. Love the tunes, but can be painful to listen to. -

Folding@Home
F@H uses bandwidth to download projects, and again to send the results afterward. I'm not sure if there are any periodic checks that it performs during a project run, though it should not amount to a huge bandwidth amount if there is.- JmRoq

Folding@Home
Been on a bit of an extended hiatus myself (only have a client running on my dad's pc currently), but I hope to get my quad-core smp rig plus 2 GPU clients back into the mix. It's definitely a worthy cause IMO, if you can spare the cpu time.- JmRoq

How many GB do you have with you on an average day?
Typical day would see me with my 100gb modded Gigabeat F in the car, and 32gb CF modded iPod mini at work.- JmRoq

Why no love for the Toshiba Gigabeat F series
Thanks for the tip mapstec. I found a similar type adapter which I will pull the trigger on and give it a shot. And I totally agree with regard to SQ...none of the other players I have sound as good straight out the unit. Too bad about the CF issues though, it works great in my iRiver h120.- JmRoq

Why no love for the Toshiba Gigabeat F series
Proud owner of a Rockbox'd F60 here. Would anyone have links or info on upgrading to 100gb+ hd's by any chance? I've found that I've slowly approached full capacity (FLAC user) and I'd definitely be interested in 'upgrading'.- JmRoq

Windows Vista 64 Bit Edition
If you are able to get all the software you use to run on it, as well as drivers for all your devices, there isn't any reason not to use it. As mentioned, being able to utilize more than 4Gb of ram is a major reason to switch. My Asus notebook came with 32-bit Vista Home premium and 2 gigs of...- JmRoq

Anyone ordered from DealExtreme.com?
I had the same reaction as well when I first saw some of their prices. I went ahead and purchased a compact flash to IDE apapter to mod my h120 with, and it came without incident. Took about 10 days for me IIRC.- JmRoq

Head-Fi Folding@Home: Join the team!
Glad to see some new HF folders in the mix. Team Head-Fi actually passed the 4 million point milestone not too long ago Currently I fold on 3 setups: an intel quad core doing smp, athlon64 X2 doing standard client, and a GPU client running on an ATI HD2600 vid card. Also, a good place to...- JmRoq
