I'm very surprised there's not more "love" for this awesome little Dac/Amp on head-fi. I'm really enjoying streaming Tidal on my iPhone 6/Teach HA-P50 with AKG 3003i IEM's. Very organic and 3D sounding. IMO: considering the price, it's one of the best mid-fi values out there.

From my experience, the AKG 3003i out of an iPhone 6 sounds very nice. Adding the TEAC ha-p50 bypasses the internal dac of the iPhone using a standard usb to lightning cable. The added dac and amp of the Teac with iPhone and AKG 3003i renders the sound more 3D, adds depth and improved instrument...

I have tried to keep and open mind on the recent changes to the site but this new layout is killing the enjoyment of being here and I now find myself spending less and less time on head-fi. I'm all for change normally but this is a total FAIL.

I actually just ordered the Zdac-1 to hold me over until my Sonicweld Decoder comes in. I've owned a Zbox buffer in the past but preferred the Audio Horizon TB5.0n buffer which is a really great. I'll let you know what I think of the Zdac after it burns in a bit.

Sonicweld/Locus Design soon to be released balanced DECODER. It's going to be a reference level Dac/ Amp/Pre. reported to be a total "game changer." Given Josh's design standards, it will also be a piece of audio art! Down side is it will be spendy.
