I toyed with the idea of getting that berhinger dac- in the end I went for a Dac-ah, and have been satisfied. The berhingers output is at a higher level than domestic audio equipment, and you'll also have to figure in the cost of xlr>rca cables.

I agree that the shure customer service is great, I got my e2c's replaced in one week, but as the failure always seems to be the cable surround material (me too), they would be much better off doing some serious materials research and just use something else. talk about doing things backwards!!

Agreed- you would get alot more benefit from a single quality sub than a pair of cheap ones. L/R separation isn't too noticeable in LF, but you would definately hear difference in bass quality.
