    Beyerdynamic T1 Grill Removal

Hi all - I'd like to try and eliminate a small dent in one of the grills on my T1's. Figure the only way will be to push it out from the inside. Has anyone removed the metal grills on these, or know what the procedure is to remove them? Thanks!

    Austrian Audio

I was sitting here just loving the sound of my AKG phones when I came across this article. I for one do hope they succeed in keeping the flame alive. http://www.psneurope.com/austrian-audio-akg-exclusive-interview/

    Faded OLED Displays

I see a lot of faded and malfunctioning OLED displays, particularly on relatively new TEAC gear such as this UD-501.  It's a shame as the rest of the piece works perfectly.  Probably easy to get to and replace, but where can one purchase replacement display components as a DIY fix for this?  ...

    TEAC UD-301 ASIO problems

When my UD-301 DAC is working correctly, it sounds great.  But it never works for more then a day or so before it starts to malfunction.  What happens is the frequency lights begin to flash and the sound fidelity becomes a garbled mess.  I am using 64-bit Windows 10 Pro.  Usually a re-load of...

    Sennheiser-style twist-lock connector

This has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find the definitive answer..   I'd like to modify some DT-880's to use a replaceable cable.  I'd like to use the twist-lock style connector that Sennheiser uses.  Is there a source for the female side of the 2.5MM twist-lock connector that is...

    "Low-res" played through "hi-res" equipment

I am surprised and disappointed with my new "hi-res" DAC.  When I play "low-res" (320k streamed) music through my brand new TEAC UD-301, it just doesn't sound all that good.  The sound is muffled, held back, and has no liveliness.  Prior to the TEAC I was using a Focusrite Saffire firewire...

    "Tuning Foam"

Hey I have on order some new pads for my DT-880's.  Along with the pads, the seller (wang wifei) supplies 2 thicknesses of "tuning foam" disks.  Has anyone used these?  What is their purpose?   Thanks
