It doesn't. Transformers step voltage up and down and for current the inverse is true.

All devices have output impedance. Just ask an electrical engineer (me). That said it seems this will have very high OI so if you plug in some low impedance earphones you're going to suffer from massive power loss due to the impedance division.

Can I ask why, if having such a massively tilted screen is so ergonomic, that the higher end models like SP1000M and SP1000 do not have tilted screens. Why is the lower end player subject to this weird design.

Inability to design a crossover network with an acceptable impedance should be viewed as a failure of design not as a “we need more power” problem .
