    when i ordered my pair of tr90 no one had posted whether they had tried it or not. i had a huch it would work so i orderd the cable to give it a shot and it works. you are welcome.

    i cant speak for the hd518 because i have not tried it however i love my hd558 even straght out of my ipod. especialy with the foam mod.

    is it worth doing the foam mod on the hd558? iv been using them stock un-amped  for the past year and a half and most of my music is curently mp3. i will however be changing that.
