It would be exciting what they can come out with, especially when the in-ear market is getting quite saturated in the recent years. 

There are, but they are harder to find. Alternatively there are adapters in the market that converts "regular" square heads into your "round heads" used on consumer units. 

  (1) Buy them from Beyerdynamic direct or from the regional distributor. For some weirdest reasons, they don't make their dealers stock parts.  (2) Lessen the clamping is best done so by "brute force", so to speak. Physically bending the headband gently but with force. Or use a basketball...

HD25s had better isolation, but it comes with the price. Head clamp. Not as comfortable as the PM-3s. 

Wrote a simple review of my OPPO PM-3 purchase, and in the comment field I will update with my own discovery of the PM-3 sound. This is a very interesting pair of headphones. Currently serving in my home studio as my tracking headphones. It helps when the cans are not fatiguing for long sessions...

I order them direct from the Beyerdynamics distributor in my region. 

I find the treble "tamed" and the bottom end more pronounced. The mids are a little cleaner, but as compared to the other more neutral headphones/earphones, the Triple Fi does not really change much, nor benefit sonically when paired with the HA-P50. 

The fluffies pads, I call these. They add a lot more comfort than the stock DT1350s for sure. 

  I think the correct word in place of "neutral" would be "clinical", that is probably due to the missing lower mid frequencies that tend to mud things up. There was a frequency response chart somewhere in this forums showing what Beyer did to "clean up" the voicing of these headphones...

Nothing beats auditioning it yourself. Sound is so subjective. I personally love the HA-P50 a lot for its warmth and clean sound, but some folks I know don't agree with me. Best that you can go to a local store near you to audition them.

I used these in the studio to replace the Sennheiser HD25s. The brighter high end gives the singer and guitarist more clarity when they are singing/playing. Those who have tracked with the DT1350 loves them so far. Especially the vocalists.
