    Yamaha EPH-100

I had issues with fit due to the larger than typical diameter of the nozzle. I tried all the included tips and bought others, however could never really get a decent fit, which is a shame as I loved the sound. I hope this isn't the case for you but I've come across this as being an issue...

    UM3X recable?

I'll get straight to the point.   I'm losing signal in the right ear, I have the non-removable cable version and it feels that there is a very sketchy connection.   Is it worth the hassle/cost of a recable or am I better off replacing? I like the UM3X so would like them to carry on living...

    Yamaha EPH-100

I've had terrible fit issues since forever with the EPH 100s, which is a shame because I love the way they sound. Like others, whatever tips I try, they seem to want to slip out of my ears. I might try the Complys as a last resort, however am starting to think that my smallish ear canals are...

    $400 custom or universal?

I'm considering taking the CIEM plunge!! Not having had much experience with customs, I am looking at spending $400 - $500 and am wanting some advice as to whether a custom is going to get me similar or better sound quality than a universal at this price. I am wanting the best sound possible...

    Yamaha EPH-100

I have to agree, I found exactly the same when first listening to these. I'm no bass monster but I like bass to be present and good quality. However, these just seemed overpowering when first listening. I'm unsure whether it is just my ears becoming attuned to the sound or that, with use, the...

    Yamaha EPH-100

Re the fake EPH-100, I was told that an easy way to check was whether the Yam logos on the end of the iem body and the R/L lettering was embossed into the metal, ie you should be able to feel indentation where the logos are. If they are just printed on top, they may well be fake..... I got mine...

    PL50 or E30?

I fancy trying some Soundmagics just for something different and an excuse to spend some more money (but not too much). I've been using Yamaha EPH-100 for the last couple of months and, while the sound is good, I, like many others, have had fit issues. But what really surprised me was that I...

Better earphones than re-400 with a budget of 100$?

I'd second the EPH-100, for the music you listen to, they are ideal, I love mine.

    Looking for IEMs for Bassheads

I used the Klipsch S4 for a couple of years, they certainly have a good amount of bass but I agree that it is not the most detailed. I have just started using Yamaha EPH-100 and while they don't seem to have quite the amount of bass, it is much more detailed, impactful and just all round better...

[REVIEW] Klipsch Image S4 - Are they a bang for the buck?

I've been using the S4's for a couple of years and had no complaints, they sounded decent enough and are definitely comfortable. Only just upgraded to Yamaha EPH-100 which are definitely a step up...

Yamaha EPH-100 upgrade over Klipsch S4i??

Hi all,   I've recently come to the conclusion that my ears are designed for IEMS, as I find over-ears too uncomfortable. I have used the S4i's for a couple of years and in that time have bought a few pairs of over-ears but kept going back to IEMS. So now is time to upgrade. I've found the...
