    Got them Thursday, they are incredible. However they have shown my laptop up to be an incredibly poor source and that even my phone is better. going to research some portable amp/dacs for awhile, my uncle has a mojo so thats first on the list .

    Random thoughts, Shangri La has best treble/cymbals i ever heard, made a Zeppelin song ive heard 100 times sound like new. Mr Speakers Electrostatics had big bass distortion in the Left Cup, pre-production i understand (and apparently the music i was listening to "Wasn't electrostatic music"...

    I read some where on Head-fi that a SRM-006tII cant power a SR 404 to loud levels, i think he said max volume on the pot was only moderately loud, can anyone confirm/deny this, thanks.

    Im a noob when it comes to connections, why would you have the Behringer and JDS DAC connected at the same time? Also is the Behringer ok for a stax system, and is the only way to connect a DAC to a Stax amp being RCA to RCA? Sorry for all the questions btw
