IEM under $200 for EDM
They are quite good IEM's, and for your music you'd want a real dynamic pair of IEM's, and I feel that shure has made a real killer pair when it comes to that. They use a dynamic driver which gives them incredibly detailed sound. The alternative to the se215 is the klipsch image s4i ii (for...- Headphoner99

IEM under $200 for EDM
Klipsch makes some sweet iem's, and etymotics makes some descent ones as well. Look at the x7i's from klipsch and the hf5's from ety. I like the se215's but then both of those and the m-duo. I feel MEElectronics is cheaply built and they won't last long. Exact opposite with shure. Top notch...- Headphoner99

so i got the ath-m50rd what now ?
I almost picked them up but decided to go with the 17's. Kilimanjaro's are very good yet but I don't think they would be the best choice for ath m50's. Fostex PC-100USB and e10's would be good alternatives for the e11's and the ath m50's- Headphoner99

Yes an amp would help. I own an ath m50 and I use an amp with them for my iphone, and I've heard that the nexus 4 can kill headphones. What would your amp budget be?- Headphoner99

Need recommendations for sub $100 comfortable over ear set
They do have a removable cable but their price is higher then their older model and it doesn't really change all that much, even when u need a mobile pair of phones. Also the lives would sound much better with an amp. Amps truly bring your headphones to life. They give your headphones clearer...- Headphoner99

Need recommendations for sub $100 comfortable over ear set
People say that lives have a better sound stage then the m50's and I can believe that. Sense I own them I feel that the layering isn't superb and could be quite better. The lives are priced nicely and with an amp (if it fits your budget) would really shine.- Headphoner99

Quite good sound quality, but out of the ones you mentioned I would get ath m50's, really comfortable with some killer sound quality. Amazon had them for around 150- Headphoner99

Audiotechnica M50's vs V-Moda Crossfade LP's?
I'm wondering which one has better sound quality. I own m50's and I feel that the layering isn't that great, and there is a lack of mids and lows. Other than that I love them, but do the v moda's sound quality beat the m50's highs- Headphoner99
