Few cable rec's for UP? looking to go straight to 4.4 no long adapter $250ish max, TY

Using my D90SE with a MonoPrice THX headphone amp and IEM's in the 4pin XLR Want to get a little more into the volume control, can only go from 7 to 8 right now, what are the negative's of setting the DAC to Pre mode and going down on the digital volume -10 to -20?

I'm using this amp with a Topping D90SE, via XLR, and I only use IEMs, via a 2.5mm balanced 4pin xlr adapter, and low gain. Should I set the D90SE to 4v or 5v?

I am looking to buy an Oracle. I need 3.5 and 4.4. Do I get the 2.5 and that comes with two adapters? Is that the best way, with stock cable?

I am using the xbone chat adapter  and turn the game volume all the way down, works great since it has seperate volume controls for game and chat

ok so I have the game audio in optical coming through the headphones using a mizamp 5.8 and  I have the xbox one  headset adapter any ideas to get chat audio to the mixamp 5.8? plug a wire from the controller to the mixamp recv and use the headset adapter to mix controller audio to full chat only?

Sorry been away.   Chat sounds the same with either the turtle beach cable or the usb cable.  I use the usb, one less cable following me around.

I'm using:   PS4:   Mixamp 5.8, optical cable and usb cable for chat, to the TX   and PC360 headset connected to the RX   works fine for game audio and chat, don't even need the turtle beach cable to the controller, which I bought based on this site but have no need for
