    Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. I am using the Bitfrost going to the Asgard 2. I hear a noise once the relay kicks in. Just before a song on right after when the music is low or zero. Sounds like a 1k sound. If I plug a Modi in place of the Bitfrost, it is silent. Thoughts?

    Just pulled the trigger on an HD800 today. Looking forward to hear the differences between some of my other headphones. Based on some of the comments in this thread, I am also going to enjoy trying these out on different amps. Should be a fun journey.

    I personally don't believe that it adds any distortion. The 1/4" adapters stick out less than the 1/8" adapters.

    I have one from both. They work the same and I believe both are now Rev. B. You may want to compare options and decide where you want the power port, location of the input and size of the headphone jack.

    I have the Uber with a Lyr 1 and HD650. I think you will like the sound. If you like the HD650 with a FIIO, you should be fine. Don't have the LCD 2. Can't speak to that.

    I have an Asgard 2 and HD700. If you don't like the treble from the Magni 2, you most likely won't like it from the Asgard 2. If you want to warm it up a bit, try the Valhalla. That seems to tame it a bit. Also, tubes can modify the sound.

    I think it is the combination, but when I hooked up all of the amps with the Modi, the sound was very good. The Bitfrost is definitely better, but the Modi is no slouch. The ODAC does a good job too.

    Listening to my HD700s through an Asgard 2. First real chance to listen with no one else in the house. I must say this is a good combination. Also, sounds good through the Valhalla 2. It's going to be a good day!
