Decent over-ear headphones for flying - < $300
I don’t mind spending a little bit more if it’s worth it. I’d almost rather buy some non-noise canceling closed Sennheisers or Beyerdynamics for that much though. Think they’d be useless on a flight? Maybe add a portable headphone amp? Thx!- ggilman

Best Travel headphones <$150 ✈️
Looking for a comfortable pair of closed headphones or IEM's for under $150 for flights. The EarPods that come with the iPhone are ok, but uncomfortable for me. I typically use open Sennheisers, and value soundstage and warm sounds. The beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 32 Ohm headphones look like a...- ggilman

Best <$100 headphones for flights
I just meant the lightning earpods that come with the iPhone. I find them uncomfortable after a time, and the sound isn't ideal, but manageable for the flight I suppose. Definitely the easiest options. Are there any entry level IEM's that rival the sound of over the ear headphones? I've always...- ggilman

Best <$100 headphones for flights
Really liking the looks of the beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 32's, but don't like that they have a hard wired 9ft cable! This checks all the boxes otherwise. Any alternatives?- ggilman

Headphones for Airports
Huh. That's interesting. I already know I'll love them, because I love my 558's. And I know they're comfortable for long stretches. Great idea, thanks for the tip! How necessary do you think that DAC/Amp is with an iPhone playing Spotify?- ggilman

Headphones for Airports
Not a basshead, but I like warm rich mids. I like to hear instrument separation, and like organic sounding real instruments. I know that’s a challenge with closed headphones. Not sure where that falls within your options.- ggilman

Looking for a good setup to use with my iPhone 7 Plus on an upcoming flight. I typically use my Sennheiser HD 558’s, which I love, but don’t want open headphones on a flight. Suggestions for headphone and amp for > $300? Listening to Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Hammock, Eno, and the like.- ggilman

Open-back headphones < $100?
+1 to the Sennheiser 558's. I bought them used from the Amazon warehouse and love them. I find them to be warm and clean. I'm not a basshead though. I paired them with an Audioengine D1 for my office setup, and I've been very pleased.- ggilman

Hey Everyone, I'm looking for a speaker solution for listening to Spotify & iTunes playlists for dinner parties. Which would you suggest for a open living room/dining room/kitchen space? Are the A5+'s too direct, or will they provide "room-filling" sound? Regarding the Sonos, would you...- ggilman
