    Audio-Technica IM50, IM70 Discussion Thread

If you like how the stock cable sounds when paired with your IEM then you should stick with them if you gonna replace them. Sometimes a so-called upgrade cable may affect your sound signature in a way that you may not enjoy. I have demoed my customs with really pricey cables and not so pricey...

unless you have got your left side wet or damaged, I would venture a guess that it is most likely a cable issue.

    Audio-Technica IM50, IM70 Discussion Thread

@novice: I own the IM50 but also demoed the IM70. To my ears and my memory, the IM70 has less low mids as compared to IM50 so to hear you describe it as muffled is quite a contrast to what I've experienced. Maybe you could try letting it burn in overnight to some of your favorite songs at...

    Audio-Technica IM50, IM70 Discussion Thread

I'm using the IM50 and haven't experienced the driver flex issue you've described.  It happens on my other pair of 13mm dynamic custom IEMs though, which are vented.  You might want to have them checked out and replaced.

Sony XBA-H1 and XBA-H3 Hybrid Dynamic and BA IEM

I have been following the thread to get some opinions and I must say that the H1s are very interesting once I actually bought a pair and used them.  I tried the H3 in the store straight out of my iPhone and I felt the lows, mids didn't quite do it for me (personal preference I guess).  The H1s...

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

@mython I did read about negative reviews within this same thread but weighed the good reviews versus the negative ones and made a calculated risk to try FS out. The mg6pros were my 2nd pair of ciems ever and my previous pair were Livewires triples (my experience with them was horrendous to say...

@mythin If I had problems as you have described I would of course contact their customer service. I didn't have that problem with my set.

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

I had a listen to to the atrios after I got my mg6pros at a earphone store and the sound signature is very similar barring the isolation and soundstage differences. So if you like the Atrios I'm pretty sure you would be happy with the mg6pros.

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

@deathscthe for IEMs going dead in one side, it's usually a result of wear and tear of the cable and flexing near the phone jack connector from my experience. The good news is that MG6pros cables use pretty standard connectors so you can always replace them with 3rd party boutique cables or just...

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

Had my mg6pros for about 9 months now and used it mostly for stage. It's all about horses for the courses. It comes alive with a full band and all the vocals pouring in and even after a few hours on them in a day I do not feel any hearing fatigue probably because they don't have the sibilance...

I'm with Ozkan on this... If you go to BAs you may not like the sound signature they present if you already like the IM50s. For a dirt cheap fix you can check out the superlux hd381f. I bought a couple cos they were simple fantastic with nice sub bass and natural mid range and top end sparkle...

Sorry to hear about the issues man, that must suck.  :(     I had a similar issue with my klipsch s4i and opened the offending side out and noticed that the driver was kinda out of place - like it was meant to be glued but somehow the glue didn't affix it to the housing properly.  so I busted...

    Audio-Technica IM50, IM70 Discussion Thread

I am currently living in Asia, so based on some amazon prices I reckon they are pretty reasonable and close to what I paid for mine. (60usd) I really am not sure how the dual dynamic symphony drivers are designed in the im50s but they don't seem to need burn-in time and just sound smooth out of...

Seriously im50s are really kickass for what they are priced at. I got myself a klipsch s4i on amazon for 59usd and really don't like the sound of them. I stand corrected on the shure 215s :) point is: for that money you spend on the 215s you can get 2 of these that sound way way way better.

Ok I just picked up the im50 instead of the im70. The store I was in had demos and I just love dynamic drivers and had to try both out. I tried the shures 215 just for comparison (they were about 150usd). Won't get too much into it but I'm not big on BAs and soundstage was narrow. My take on...

[Review] Future Sonics MG6PRO Ear Monitors: Dynamic Driver Custom-Fit In-Ear Monitors

It's my first time posting and I would just like to add on to my experience with purchasing the mg6pros.   I have used a pair of Livewire triple drivers in live stage environment and noticed that it does get fatiguing after a while and sometimes to keep timing on stage, we need to listen to...
