I used the ak120 > intruder > lcd-x, was a bad combination... Compared to my mjolnir gungnir combination

I tried my lcdx with my ak120->the intruder amp (basically the same amp as sr71b). I really didn't like it in comparaison to my gungnir/mjolnir stack. There is a huge difference in term of detail, soundstage, mid-treble/treble frequencies and separation. I will never use ak120/intruder again to...

Same impressions here. I demoed a lot between the lcd-3 and lcd-x and i finally pull the trigger on the lcd-x. The lcd-3 has more air and is smoother and its end up giving the impression of being less precise than the lcd-x. The lcd-x feels like being more intimate too. That's why i bought the...

Thanks guys I think I will do the same. Any ideas for a good transformer for a mjolnir 230V to plug in the US 110 V ? Will it have some noise induced by the transformer ?

Hi everyone,  I would like to pull the trigger for the gungnir and mjolnir combo. The thing is I am moving a lot (every 6 months) mostly in Europe and US. Is there any custom/mod for switching between 115V and 230V ? That could be awesome !   Thank you !

Yes indeed, it's difficult and innacurate

I felt that lcdx has more impact (fast) and the lcd3 get deeper. I heard that with organ, when it stops playing you can hear the deep bass causes by the air coming back to the organ's tube (couldn't hear that on lcdx)

I have test the LCD 3. Is there some people finding it a little muddy ? I also tested the lcd-x and it has more clarity and contour but less viceral bass

The A-Z scrolling already exist for the ak120...

or just doing a bigger area at the same spot while having the same visual size... I wish they opensourced they code, I would like to code in it. And I wish we can do our own graphic interface, I don't like their. I prefer more flat and minimalistic UI and brighter color 

It is implemented on the ak120. I discovered it yesterday, you can slide up and down on the right side of the screen (you don't have letters but still very faster than scrolling).

  I have a very little orthogonal movement but very little. However it rotates very very easily (between each step). Since I am an engineer maybe I can try to tighten it and do a tutorial to improve the feel. (sorry for my approximative english, french guy here)
