I've been meaning to give EVO a listen; the LX SE is my favorite EE IEM and I've read EVO is a direct upgrade, but the shell size has me hesitant. Odin was almost too large for my small-ish ears.

Basically "good for metal" could almost be used interchangeably with "good for ME"

But doesn't this somewhat assume that all modern DD's are the same? Couldn't some manufacturers prefer a 'slower' DD, or a 'faster' BA?

I had read that the Elysian shells were large, but I was able to get a fairly good fit with my smallish ears. I didn't think they were necessarily large, but deep fitting so they stuck out of my ears a little. Unfortunately, I'd developed ear aches in both my ears (non-IEM related) so didn't get...

I swear someone used the tupperware in the Elysian kit. I gave it a good wash in the kitchen sink after noticing a tacky brown substance on the outside that smelled suspiciously like soy sauce.
