Fulla (by) Schiit - News, photos, thoughts, impressions, etc.

how do these power the HD 650? also, people say that these sound bright and harsh with the HD 650. pairing the HD 650s with the fulla would lose that unqiue euphony?

    FiiO E10k with HD 650

Can the FiiO E10k drive the HD 650s okay? If they don't provide enough power, they won't damage the sound or some part of the sound, right?

    Sennheiser HD 598 Impressions Thread

well, i had previously posted that the HD 598s sound boomy.  That is not that case anymore. The bass has almost settled, so is the harsh treble. treble sounds soft, but has a bright coating to it. Cymbals sound a bit unnatural and dry coz of that. do you guys hear the same? or it still needs...

Strange crispy noise on high notes - Sennheiser HD 598

Sorry for reviving this old post, i hear the same crispy sound on high notes. They sound harsh imo. People said that  they have one of the best treble presentations ever. I dont hear that. Cymbals do not sound right to me .

    Sennheiser HD 598 Impressions Thread

I was listening to music with my 598 today and there was this bad song that had a loud pop at the end, while it was playing, I forgot about the pop. so when it occurred - it was loud. Can that pop affect the voice coil or the diaphragm? also,  how much DB can the HD 598s drivers take without...

    Sennheiser HD 598 Impressions Thread

I don't really believe in burn in. let's see. I wish I had my old 598s to compare.  I think I am used to my DT 150's sound. That might be the reason that they sound boomy.

    Sennheiser HD 598 Impressions Thread

I got my HD 598 SE today. I am powering them through the X1. I did not like the sound. The sound gets too warm and bassy. The X1 gives power to the low end that makes it sound boomy. I think the HD 598s were made for normal portable devices without amps. They sound neutral out of my phone. The...

Roll call: Indians staying in India, interested in high end headphones/IEMS

"Warm, intoxicating sound with live atmosphere" Grabbed my attention! I can upgrade my DT 150 finally. Also, how do the DT 150s compared against the DT 1770 pro?

Visit Beyerdynamic India's FB page and drop a message or if you reside in Mumbai, contact Shalu music. They have one in stock in their store I think.

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]

Yes, but they are out of your budget. 9k. if I could extend my budget to 9k, I would better get the T5 for 10k.

I would not use my T1 in the gym. They would sound bad due to their open sound and worse isolation. They sound fine at home - sounds best late night when everything is quiet. Also, T1 might sound bass light to you. They are bright sounding iems, also borderline analytical. T5's would be...

I use the comply sport tips. they provide isolation and make the sound a bit smoother.  Btw, what kind of a sound signature are you looking for?

I live in India too. Go for the EX1. VFM. They sounded similar to the T1's when I had compared them.

excellent offer! I still love the HD 598's midrange.   it is only bested by my DT 150. Though, 598's midrange still is one of the best midranges I have ever heard. Also, if you are a midrange fan, you should check out the DT 150. It only costs 13k here but its sound is as good as the 650's if...

Dunu TITAN Series (new for 2019: Titan 6) [Page 196]

My T3 has more than 50+ hours now.  Brain is well adjusted to the sound, but what bothers me still is the upper mid range/lower treble. It does not sound harsh, but it is very dry  specially the cymbals. when they hit, the texture does not sound natural to me. it's hard for me to explain how...

    $250-300 IEMs

It is the upper treble that is bothering you.  If there is a peak in the lower treble(brightness), the cymbals would sound a bit too bright( not necessarily harsh)  . If there is a peak in the upper treble(air) - the letters T and S would be emphasized .Instruments and vocals would make a sound...

FiiO X1 + Dunu Titan 3( black orange tips) = awesome. Them mids send shivers down my spine. Euphoric. Try this combo. you won't regret it if you are a vocal lover.

I got the replacement. This pair sounds warm compared to the last one that was bass light. This one does not sound bass light at all. The bass is sufficient. I like this one better.
