New Work Headphones / IEMs
Good to know they are over-ear and not on-ear. That actually caused me to overlook them a bit, but their isolation might eliminate them for me I work for an aerospace engineering company, so sound leaking is very frowned upon.- pjcforpres2020

New Work Headphones / IEMs
Updated my OP to be more concise and actually make sense. I am trying to decide between IEM or full-sized - that is a personal choice I have to make. But I would like suggestions while I compare. Currently I am between the Oppo PM-3 vs the FLC 8S. Both sound to have the sound signature I...- pjcforpres2020

New Work Headphones / IEMs
Trying to replace a pair of on-ear momentum's. I liked their sound a fair amount, but also played around with EQ a bit to get them where I wanted them. There were things I did not like, and would like to improve on - namely comfort during long listening sessions, clarity, sound stage, and...- pjcforpres2020

Help with putting together a ~1K home setup
Thanks for the recommendations guys! I think I am pretty set on the HiFiMan HE-500s, got to listen to a pair that a friend owns, and they really seem to hit that sweet spot for me. Still back and forth a bit, though, and would hope someone with experience with both the HD-650 and HE-500...- pjcforpres2020

Help with putting together a ~1K home setup
Hi- I have recently started doing a bunch of freelance writing from home, and as such am in a position that I need to put together a nice headphone + amp & DAC combo for home. My primary goals are: - Comfortable for long wearing sessions - I wear glasses - I don't have to worry about...- pjcforpres2020

Modern Music (Katy Perry in particular)
I am not a big fan of most modern pop. It just lacks a certain originality/meaningfulness that is disappointing. That being said, there is some that is catchy enough that I will listen to it (aka, my wife likes it and I can put up with it). Not much that I will go out of my way to listen or...- pjcforpres2020

The future of music media.
It would be amazing if record labels would recognize the market demand for accessible lossless downloads. Whether that means working with Apple/Amazon/Google to give us true CD+ quality downloads, or doing it on their own, it would be really nice. I buy the vast majority of my music on CD...- pjcforpres2020

Spotify vs MOG
I have used both here and there. MOG is way better, IMHO. Feels like a larger/more complete library, better sound quality, and for me a better user interface. I have premium Spotify for free (I was a beta tested way back in the day), and still pony up the $5 a month for MOG.- pjcforpres2020

Recommendations and leakage questions
A little extra information... I don't have much opportunity in my area to try out headphones, especially high quality ones. Sadly I am limited to Best Buy and their display. Out of what they had their, I really liked the Bose on ear ones, but they didn't perform well when plugged into an ipod. I...- pjcforpres2020

Recommendations and leakage questions
First off, awesome community here and happy to become a part of it. I recently got an 'office' job and being able to enjoy music while doing it is a huge factor to not going insane. So that puts me in the position of needing a good pair of headphones. I am looking to spend up to $400 for...- pjcforpres2020
