Yes they are great for rock. Guitars have a great sound on the Westone 4r 's.

  I have some Westone 4rs...great all around performer with a very balanced sound signature. I would also look into the Astrotek ax-60,although i dont own these ive seen some pretty good reviews for them.

  I have to agree. I have the SACD version and althoughI dont at all disagree its a fine recording, its overrated IMO. Defineately not one of my favorite albums from them.

I noticed that poweramp automatically plays sound effects from apps that I've downloaded. I find this very annoying and have not found a way to remove these. How do I stop poweramp from doing this? Also it doesn't download tracks I've bought off of Google play. What gives?

After having been at first unimpressed with my 4r's, I have to say that I absolutely love them now. My htc one drives them good and the detail is amazing. I've actually grown to appreciate the super tight bass over more boomy exaggerated bass. I've only so far listened to music I've bought off...

Ok thanks again... im pretty satisfied with the largest silicone tips for sound. The fit is not as good tho I keep having to readjust them. I guess this is all part of the fun of getting new item's. But I'm definitely not comfortable trimming the stem.
