Running headphones
K, so I'm a poor college student, but I'm also a runner, so I want some decent sounding headphones (over- or in-ear, not on-) that will stay put nicely when I'm running around on trails, weightlifting, etc. Comfort and secure attachment to my head are first priority, but decent sound quality...- Lastshadow94

Shure SRH 440 headband
This seems like a fairly common problem- SRH 440s have minimal padding on the headband, causing pain in extended listening. What's my best bet for adding some pad to the headband to negate the issue? I'm not looking to do some massive mod on the headphones, just to add some cushion so it's not...- Lastshadow94

Shure SRH 440 or Sony ZX700?
I'm looking for something neutral, closed back, good isolation, relatively durable (I'm not tossing them around all day, but I'm not keeping them in a velvet case either), and solid sound quality. Which is the better option of those two?- Lastshadow94

Choice between Sony ZX700, Shure SRH 440, and Sennheiser HD 440
The ZX700 fits my needs better than the V6, I was considering the 440s, and the Live! only works if it's a solidly neutral response. Assuming it is, what's my best option of those four (Sennheiser 448, Shure 440, Sony ZX700, CA Live!)? --Edit-- I've done some more looking and eliminated...- Lastshadow94

Choice between Sony ZX700, Shure SRH 440, and Sennheiser HD 440
Apologies, typo- SRH 440, not 840. 840 would be nice, but it's a bit out of my price range.- Lastshadow94

Choice between Sony ZX700, Shure SRH 440, and Sennheiser HD 440
I'm listening to almost exclusively rock and metal, and I need something with good isolation (lots of listening around others/while out and about). What's my best option with regards to sound quality, durability, comfort, and isolation?- Lastshadow94

Neutral closed-back over-ear headphones
The 7506 is the same as the v6 in terms of sound quality and basically everything else I care about, and is more expensive. At this point, I'm just trying to decide between the HD448, the ZX700, and the SRH-840. Opinions?- Lastshadow94

Neutral closed-back over-ear headphones
Due to price, I have to cut most of those out, and based on a few comparisons I've seen, it seems like the Sony MDR-ZX700 is better for what I'm using it for (no amp, just laptop/mp3 player/tablet). Between those two is one a better option in terms of quality, durability, or comfort, or should I...- Lastshadow94

Neutral closed-back over-ear headphones
I'm looking for something nicely neutral (I listen to a lot of varied rock and metal, so any tonal emphasis throws off the balance of the music), closed back/over ear (I need the noise cancellation), and in the under-$100 category (unless there's something fantastic that's a little over, in...- Lastshadow94

Over-ear, closed back headphones for metal
Alright, fellas, here's the deal. I'm a college student with limited budget, and I've been using pretty terrible in-ear headphones for a few months, and I'm looking to upgrade. I want something with good sound insulation (internal and external), comfortable, and probably max around $80 (although...- Lastshadow94
