IMO settle your IEM first because you will reap the most upgrade in SQ with good IEMs then get good quality recorded music then when you have the funds go get a DAP. you dont really need an amp at this point. Happy hunting!

Was listening to the chezky test tracks with my IM50s via C3 and BH combo, SF and LF engage at low gain with the foamies and was able to hear below 30hz. Probably lower if I was in a quiet environment. (Was on a bus) So yeah, the IM50s can give you those low rumble.

rebelinho IMO you do not need to amp the Pro 80s (but they will benefit from one), they are easy enough to drive and are efficient but I would recommend them for a home setup because of the coiled cable. The Brainwavz might give you more flexibility of portability. So you need to evaluate your...

This is also a bit confusing for me, but for my ears the main difference is IM70 is more airy and treble sparkle is more refined (this is based on memory now as i auditioned them a few weeks ago) IM50 has a smaller soundstage compared to the IM70. IM50 has better bass impact but both can go low.

I have my FXT90s for more than half a year now. alternating with my other iems, every time I put them on it never ceases to put a smile on my face. My preferred music are rock and metal but I do listen to other genres from time to time.

Looks like I need forget about my plans on getting Ihifi 770 and stay the course with the Fiio X1  and possible pairing with the E11K.   These are indeed truly fun times for the budget music lovers such as myself!
