Pretty sure it is not driver issue, as other people reporting that it works fine in Win10. It also had problems in win8 even with the Alo custom drivers. I did check the unit for solder problems yesturday. When fired up (and problem occuring) I touched all elements to see if it affected...

The Island is notorious for having problems drivers under win8/win10 ? After creators update the drivers are integrated into windows (plug and play), but I am not sure if it is the drivers that still don't work for me or the unit itself is broken. At random times it goes almost totally silent...

Hmm...thinking of getting Sines to pair with Alo Island amp dac. Probably going balanced cables also (dac has balanced output). Should it be a good combo ?

Hi,   I also have problems under win8, the drivers and support by Alo is almost non existant.  So fustrating. Only drivers which seem to work are the ones that come with the unit, but even these tend to have problems.
